Under the eIDAS 2.0 regulation, every EU member state must offer citizens a European Digital Identity (EUDI) Wallet. Estonia's national wallet will give residents a way to hold and present trusted digital credentials, starting with person identification data (PID).

Estonia's national EUDI Wallet (digikukkur in Estonian) is organised by the Information System Authority (RIA), which launched an international procurement in May 2026 for a provider to build and run it. It is planned as a standalone mobile app that lets people identify themselves, sign documents and store and share e-attestations, alongside the ID card, Mobile-ID and Smart-ID.

Paradym supports verification flows for EUDI-style credentials. However, end-to-end testing with the national wallet depends on that wallet being available and exposing the relevant credentials, as there is currently no available Estonian wallet it is not possible to verify credentials from that wallet.
Paradym can issue standards-compliant EUDI credentials today, but those credentials cannot currently be issued into the Estonia national wallet through a public production integration. Once Estonia opens its issuer ecosystem as part of its EUDI rollout, Paradym's issuance APIs can be used to issue credentials to Estonia wallet, subject to any national onboarding, trust framework, and certification requirements.
Yes. Organisations that want to request data from the wallet or issue e-attestations to it must register, and may only request the data listed in their registration. Under eIDAS 2.0, each organisation registers in the member state where it is established. In Estonia, the Information System Authority (RIA) is setting up the relying party register and plans its first version for the end of 2026 or the beginning of 2027; registration opens after that. The solution for access certificates is still being developed.
