Italy has a live EUDI wallet feature in their existing IO app, with millions of activations. The app is currently being tested. All citizens and residents can activate “Documents on IO,” the feature of the IO app Wallet that makes the first digital versions of personal documents available.
Under the eIDAS 2.0 regulation, every EU member state must offer citizens a European Digital Identity (EUDI) Wallet. Italy's route is IT-Wallet, starting with Documenti su IO inside the IO public services app. Citizens and residents can already add domestic digital documents such as the driving licence, health insurance card / EHIC and European Disability Card.

Citizens can receive digital documents in their app, which they can then choose to share with Relying Parties.

Yes. Paradym supports verification flows for EUDI-style credentials today. End-to-end testing with the national wallet depends on that wallet being available and exposing the relevant credentials.
Paradym can issue standards-compliant EUDI credentials today, but those credentials cannot currently be issued into the Italy national wallet through a public production integration. Once Italy opens its issuer ecosystem as part of its EUDI rollout, Paradym's issuance APIs can be used to issue credentials to Italy's wallet, subject to any national onboarding, trust framework, and certification requirements.
Not as a full EUDI Wallet yet. Documenti su IO is best described as Italy's live domestic first step toward the full IT-Wallet System and EUDI Wallet compliance. Italy publishes technical specifications and is progressively aligning the system with eIDAS 2 and the EUDI Wallet architecture.
