Poland in the EUDI ecosystem

Poland's EUDI Wallet is still in development, with mObywatel providing a mature domestic digital document base. You can already prepare your Paradym integration for PID and other EUDI credential flows, so you are ready when the national wallet goes live.

Under the eIDAS 2.0 regulation, every EU member state must offer citizens a European Digital Identity (EUDI) Wallet. Poland already has mObywatel, a mature domestic government app used by millions of citizens to carry digital documents such as mDowód and mPrawo Jazdy.

That live domestic app is not yet EUDI-compliant. With Paradym, you can prepare OpenID4VC issuance and verification flows for future Polish EUDI Wallet credentials while Poland's national wallet compliance and protocol support mature.
