Slovakia in the EUDI ecosystem

Slovakia's EUDI Wallet is still in development, with eDOKLADY providing a visible domestic digital documents base. You can already prepare your Paradym integration for PID and other EUDI credential flows, so you are ready when the national wallet goes live.

Under the eIDAS 2.0 regulation, every EU member state must offer citizens a European Digital Identity (EUDI) Wallet. Slovakia's visible route may build on eDOKLADY, the national digital documents app, but public evidence for a live EUDI/PID wallet remains limited.

With Paradym, you can prepare OpenID4VC issuance and verification flows for future Slovak wallet credentials today, so your integration is ready as eDOKLADY evolves toward fuller EUDI Wallet functionality.

Common questions

How does the EUDI Wallet work in Slovakia?

Slovakia's EUDI Wallet path may build on eDOKLADY, the country's digital documents app. That gives Slovakia a concrete base, but public evidence for a live EUDI-compliant PID wallet remains limited.

Can I verify Slovak EUDI Wallet credentials with Paradym?

Paradym supports verification flows for EUDI-style credentials. However, end-to-end testing with the national wallet depends on that wallet being available and exposing the relevant credentials, as there is currently no available Slovak wallet it is not possible to verify credentials from that wallet.

Can I issue credentials to the Slovakia EUDI Wallet with Paradym?

Paradym can issue standards-compliant EUDI credentials today, but those credentials cannot currently be issued into the Slovakia national wallet through a public production integration. Once Slovakia opens its issuer ecosystem as part of its EUDI rollout, Paradym's issuance APIs can be used to issue credentials to Slovakia wallet, subject to any national onboarding, trust framework, and certification requirements.
